2/4/25 That's a NO for me Dawg.

Today was the US for my abdomen/liver/lady bits.

Not only was it a full bladder US...they also had a surprise up their sleeve.

I had to pee for 45 min. 15 of them were with extreme pressure on my bladder while the technician explored every inch with her ultrasound head.

"I would rather 15 Breast MRI's over this."

I felt less than pleased with this procedure - like really Heather? Out of all the ones you have had up to this point, THIS is the worst?  Get a grip.

"You will be able to empty your bladder shortly and the first portion will be done. Then we will move to the internal."

"I'm sorry, WHAT?"

"Oh. They didn't tell you? Yeah, they often don't. The next part is a transvaginal ultrasound."

"Yeah. That's a NO for me."

Sometimes enough is enough. I had been poked and prodded and examined enough by this point to recognize this was not needed.  Between the MRIs, CT scan, and bone scan, all was seen that needed to be seen.

Put it in my chart. Patient refused additional assessment.

...she did. Twice.
