Conversations with Gavie:
Mom, I really want to go to this but I know we can’t because of your cancer.
Well, I'll be damned if that's the case.
What is it babe?
Pfaff Night at Iron Pigs.
The boys love going to the Iron Pigs games (me too!)
Oh, no baby, we will go, don't worry.

Mom, will your cancer be done in May?
Sir, you have no idea how badly I wish I could say "yes".
No, baby, why?
Oh, never mind. It is my field trip and I wanted you to go.
Well I'll be damned if this cancer makes me miss the opportunity to be with my son on his field trip.
I will sign up to go. And I will wear my wig, is that ok?
Yes!
Every time someone asks me how the boys are doing, I typically say I think they are ok. They do talk about stuff in their own way. We don't avoid conversations about it.
I do think things could shift a bit as treatments finally start and they see physical changes that can not be kept under a shirt...but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

In other news, their little crayon business is booming!
We had the idea to make names as well so letter molds have been ordered and a pre-sale ad went up on FB marketplace!
This should keep them (and me busy) for a hot minute!
